Menara City One EMCO: Day 20/29 - Life Goes On

| Day 33/42 of Malaysian MCO | Day 20/29 of City One EMCO |

Yesterday we said that we saw the light at the end of the tunnel. Despite the latest developments where 2 suspected Covid-19 patients (subject to confirmation by KKM)  were seen leaving Menara City One in an ambulance yesterday we have not yet abandoned all hope that the lock-down imposed on our condo can be lifted by 28th April.

We know that all residents had been PCR tested with the last session ending on 9th April. From that round of testing 39 positive cases were found. A second round of rapid test kit screening was held on 14th and 16th April on almost all residents, and we believe that from this session the additional 2 cases (subject to confirmation by KKM) mentioned above were found.

Given that results from the second round of screening will only be known in 7 days, we are hoping against hope that KKM can give our condo the all clear by 25th April.

In the meantime, life must go on and we placed a fresh order for groceries and provisions with Ben Leow. If all goes well we should receive our supplies tomorrow morning.

At around 2pm today a team that we believe to be from the Fire Department came to disinfect the main foyer area at the 7th floor:

At 5.00pm today during his daily press conference the Health Ministry Director-General Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah announced one (1) additional positive case bringing the total positive cases at Menara City One to 40:

It has been 12 days since we were PCR tested, and we assume that our results are negative. We ask that everyone we know to pray for our continued health, safety and well-being.
