Two Months Indoors
Happy MCO Kuala Lumpur!
All of Kuala Lumpur has been under a full Movement Control Order (MCO) since 7 May, which means we have spent a miserable two months imprisoned in our own home. The days blurred together, and cabin fever became a constant companion.
The Family’s Vaccination Journey
The missus and our son received their first dose of the Oxford AstraZeneca vaccine on 27 May, and their second dose was scheduled nine weeks later, on 29 July.
I, on the other hand, was not offered AstraZeneca together with them. For a while, I worried that I had been overlooked. Thankfully, that fear was misplaced — I was soon offered the Sinovac CoronaVac vaccine instead.
I received my first dose on 13 June, and today, I finally completed the vaccination process. All’s well that ends well, I guess.
Hoping for Better Days
We truly hope that everyone has registered for vaccination. The sooner we reach high coverage, the sooner this MCO can end.
And when that happens, we can finally head out again — and upload more videos for all of you.
