Menara City One EMCO: Day 11/14 - Hoping for the Best

| Day 24/28 of Malaysian MCO | Day 11/14 of City One EMCO |

An announcement will be made by the government today as to whether the MCO will be extended. We are bracing for extensions to both the MCO and the lock-down on our condo.

MCO: PM to address nation at 4pm

Lunch today will be a little special. To break the monotony of canned food and rice with the usual dishes Cat prepared oven roasted chicken leg:

At about 3pm a condo security officer went around with a loudspeaker telling everyone to open their doors if they hear a knock on the door. Like yesterday with our Block, today a team of KKM and PDRM personnel will be visiting every unit in Block A to ascertain if they have been tested yet, and if the vacant units are indeed unoccupied. We have a sneaky suspicion AK47s and large yellow cutters will be making their rounds soon.

By the time we managed to take a video the condo security officer had ceased his announcements. It never occurred to us how tall Block A was, with 42 floors. Quite a strain on the neck to look all the way up.

At precisely 4pm the announcement from the government was made, and it comes as no surprise that the MCO has been extended by another 14 days till 28th April.

MCO extended two weeks to April 28

Still, we wait with bated breath for an announcement on Menara City One's EMCO lock-down.

It has been 3 days since we were PCR tested, and we expect results in 4 days' time. We ask that everyone we know to pray for our continued health, safety and well-being.
