Kuala Terengganu Trip Day 4!
We had made plans with my good old friend Vinodh to have dinner at one of the Ikan Celup Tepung (ICT, or fish dipped in flour) in the Seberang Takir area. Alas, we left our hotel late in the evening, picked Vinodh up and by the time we reached Seberang Takir it was already dusk.
We drove around Seberang Takir for an hour before calling it quits and headed back to Kuala Terengganu town. Vinodh then suggested we try his favourite late-night hangout that served an excellent version of the local Nasi Minyak (fragrant rice dish that can be directly translated to "Oily Rice") variant.
Kedai Makan MYM is located in close proximity to the Pasar Kedai Payang and Istana Maziah. We placed our orders and sat down to enjoy Nasi Minyak like no other, and quite unlike the ones you will usually find in the West Coast of Peninsula Malaysia. Different, but amazing just the same.
This time around we were not able to quote the price of our meal for four, since Vinodh graciously footed the bill. All the same and believe you me it would not have breached RM10 per person!
