Sunday Stroll │ KOPI CLUB Sungei Wang Plaza

Back to Sungei Wang

Happy National Recovery Plan (NRP) Phase 4, Kuala Lumpur!

Sunday morning saw us back at Sungei Wang Plaza to run yet more errands. The Millennial had an appointment with his hair stylist at 11am, so we decided to have a quick breakfast — or brunch, depending on who you ask — at Kopi Club.

A Nostalgic Kopitiam Vibe

Located on the Lower Ground (Concourse Level), Sungei Wang’s website describes Kopi Club as:

“A delicious home cooked food which reminds us of our childhood days — our very own local delicacies.”

We must say, we agree. Kopi Club exudes that old school kopitiam charm — warm lighting, simple décor, and a comforting, familiar atmosphere. It felt soothing, almost like stepping back into a gentler time.

A Very Malaysian Breakfast

Our very Malaysian breakfast came up to RM28.80 (≈ USD7/EUR6). A teensy bit pricey by our usual standards, but considering the location and the nostalgic ambience, we didn’t mind paying a little extra.

A Simple Start to a Busy Day

With brunch sorted, the Millennial headed off for his haircut, and we continued with our errands — grateful for a calm, cosy start to our Sunday in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.
