We must have been worn out by all that walking
last night, since we woke up pretty late (past 8:00AM) today. After a hasty shower
we made our way to the vicinity of Jonker Walk in search of some authentic
local breakfast.

Simply called Lung Ann Refreshments, this coffee
shop provided us with a very refreshing experience indeed.
In testament of its popular fluffy toasted bread
it took us some time to get ourselves seated despite it being past the usual breakfast
time.

The half boiled eggs were served in plastic
canisters that reminded us of our days growing up, while the coffee was brewed
to perfection.

So for a taste of good old Malaysian breakfast,
come head on down to Lung Ann Refreshments. Besides being in the category of
the everyday food for the everyday man, the breakfast spread here is really
something else. Just be sure to come early as they run out of bread to toast
really fast.
