After the disappointment of The Louvre we went to Yas Mall for a spot of grocery shopping at Carrefour. This welcomed distraction served its purpose in that we soon forgot our earlier setback.
After Yas Mall Ginny and Sern took us (at our own hankering) to dinner at where else but
Mamak Abu Dhabi, our comfort food restaurant in the middle of the desert.

Imagine us wolfing down dishes like Ayam Padprik, Daging Padprik, Nasi Goreng Tomyan and Nasi Goreng Cina in the middle of the Arabian Peninsula. Globalisation at its finest if you ask us.

After that glorious dinner we headed back home to Al Reef to retire for the night, for tomorrow an exciting adventure in Abu Dhabi awaits!
