TBS • Conlay • Titiwangsa: GoKL Driver Gets A Piece Of My Mind!

GoKL Driver Gets a Shelling

We headed out to run an errand at Terminal Bersepadu Selatan (TBS), a large transport hub serving buses to destinations across Malaysia. With my birthday coming up in less than two weeks, we had already bought bus tickets online for a short highland escape. All we needed to do was print the physical tickets.

Crowds at TBS

We left our condo at a quarter to eleven and made our way to Bandaraya LRT Station. From there, we took the train to Bandar Tasik Selatan for RM2.90 (≈ USD0.60 / EUR0.60).

When we walked into TBS, we were met with a wall of people. The place was packed. With the long queues and crowds, we decided it was better to come back another day to print our tickets.

Changing Plans

We left TBS and returned to Bandar Tasik Selatan LRT Station, then took another train to Chan Sow Lin. From there, we walked over to the MRT station nearby and caught another train to Conlay MRT Station for RM3.50 (≈ USD0.70 / EUR0.70).

Across the street was the Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex, where Hari Kraf Kebangsaan 2024 (National Craft Day) was taking place. We decided to spend some time there instead and stayed for over two hours. More on that in our other video.

Heading Home the Long Way

After leaving the craft complex with a lovely haul, we returned to Conlay MRT Station and took the train to Titiwangsa MRT Station for RM2.00 (≈ USD0.40 / EUR0.40). We then made our way to the Titiwangsa GoKL Hub.
Soon after, we boarded a GoKL Red Line free bus to Sogo Kuala Lumpur.

Enough Was Enough

Sadly, the driver was rude and said something unpleasant to Cat. This was not our first bad experience, but it was the last straw. As we got off the bus, I gave him a firm piece of my mind. I told him I was filming and reminded him plainly to mind his manners.

The driver looked stunned, and we walked away without another word.

Wrapping Up

We then made our way back to our condo, tired but calm again. Plans were already forming for the following week, including a visit to a BIG HOME Expo at Bukit Jalil Stadium.

Stay tuned—more adventures were coming.
