CAM Day 1 │ AIRBNB: Cameron Fair TANAH RATA

Checking In to Our Airbnb

We picked you up again after lunch as we crossed Jalan Besar and headed south toward Cameron Fair, a mixed commercial residential complex much like our own condo.

Our Airbnb host, Amirah, graciously allowed us to check in early at 2:00pm, and asked us to contact her point person, Ayie. We placed a call and arranged to collect the key and access card.

Our Home in the Highlands

We made our way up to the seventh floor, where our home for the next four days awaited. We’ll let our footage show the full walkthrough, but here’s the essence:

  • A diminutive but well appointed unit
  • Everything we needed except a washer
  • A stunning view of Tanah Rata that immediately won us over

At RM200 (≈ USD50/EUR43) per night, this apartment represented excellent value for money — comfortable, convenient, and perfectly located.

Settling In

Once we’d unpacked, the cool Highlands air lulled us into a long afternoon nap. We woke up late in the evening, refreshed and ready for dinner.

What’s Next

Be sure to catch our next video, where we head out for a steaming Highlands dinner.
