Dinner at Batu Buruk

We picked you up again after waking at 5:30pm. Once we freshened up, we walked over to the house. I began downloading the videos from the day while Cat cleaned the front porch. Brendan was still deep in beauty sleep, so we left him to rest and told him to text when he woke up hungry.

We spent the next hour doing small chores until Brendan finally messaged. We met him at the parking space opposite the rest house and drove out at 9:00pm.

A Fuel Warning and a Detour

We drove aimlessly for a bit while deciding on dinner — until BiBi’s fuel warning came on. That settled it. We headed straight for Batu Buruk in search of a Petronas station.

Along the way, we spotted a lively cluster of food stalls beside TY Hotel and decided to check it out. We eventually settled on Zeeror Burger, which also served Thai dishes.

We ordered:

• Beef Bone Soup
• Tom Yum Chicken
• Nasi Goreng Kampung
• 2 plates of white rice
• 2 plain omelettes
• Keropok Lekor
• 2 Iced Lemon Tea
• Watermelon Juice

And because we were still peckish, we later added:

• Oblong Chicken Burger Special
• Double Beef Burger

Our hearty dinner came to RM62.00 (≈ USD14/EUR13).

Fueling Up and Winding Down

After dinner, we drove to the Batu Buruk Petronas station and filled up RM100.00 worth of fuel. Then we returned to the house, where I continued working on our videos while Cat busied herself with little chores.

By the time we got back to the rest house, it was close to midnight.
