Concert over, we were all tuckered out after the exertions and adjourned ourselves to Plan B for brunch.

We were in two minds whether or not to give this place a mention on our blog seeing as it cannot be classified as an eatery within the realms of the everyday food for the everyday person, but it’s not every day that we get to dine with family, and my parents in particular.

Up until a few years ago, my parents completely abhorred the idea of eating out. But over time and when all their children ‘flew the coup’ my mother found cooking for just the two of them to be a bit of a tiresome chore (what with age and all). So Plan B made it to our blog if only for the company we kept, and the rare occasion of us having the honour of eating out with my parents.

a row of  antiquated typewriters greet you as you enter

very 'Zen'-ish settings

Truth be told this is not our first time, and the place seemed cosy enough though not as bright and cheerful as we’d like (we were never into those dark broody ‘Zen’ themed eateries). A little more fluorescent, a little less yellow light bulbs would be nice.

what if I don't like lemonade? hehehe...

looks like something from Prohibition

My sister Vivien ordered the carbonara (could not recall what David had) while my parents shared a plate of nasi goreng. We were still full from Robert’s CKT so Brendan only had a plate of nachos while Cat and I shared a sliced chicken salad.

The verdict? It was worth its price (which we will not mention) and overall we were without complaint. Would we come back again? Only if someone’s buying… hehehe!
