BDO Day 2 │ Paris Van Java!

The Shopping Continues

We picked you up again right after we hailed a fixed fare Bluebird taxi for IDR39,000 (≈ MYR9/USD2/EUR2) to our next shopping destination: Paris Van Java.

We arrived at 11:10am and began exploring this vast, open air mall — a mix of boutiques, cafés, and long corridors that seemed to stretch endlessly.

Slow Start

An hour in, our haul was… toiletries.

From Watsons:
  • IDR76,500 (≈ MYR18/USD5/EUR4)

From Guardian:
  • IDR73,500 (≈ MYR18/USD4/EUR4)

Not exactly the shopping explosion we expected — but Bandung was only warming us up.

The Real Buys

Eventually, the momentum kicked in.

  • Cat found a blouse and bottom from Urban&Co for IDR409,800 (≈ MYR95/USD24/EUR20).
  • I picked up a pair of shorts from Uniqlo for IDR399,000 (≈ MYR93/USD23/EUR20).

Not bad for a mid day haul.

We wandered around a little more, soaking in the atmosphere, before deciding it was time to move on to our final shopping stop of the day.

Next Stop: Cihampelas Walk

We hailed another fixed fare Bluebird taxi for IDR43,000 (≈ MYR9/USD3/EUR2) to Cihampelas Walk Mall (Ciwalk) — the last stop in our Bandung shopping escapade.
