Mall Hopping 3 │ NYONYA COLOURS @ NU Sentral

It’s the Weekend — Breakfast First

We were on a mall hopping mission again, and like all good days out, it began with food.

We caught the free GoKL Red Line bus from our home and headed toward KL Sentral. Before jumping onto the MRT to 1 Utama Shopping Centre, we decided it was best to fuel up first.

Hunting for Food

Our initial plan was to grab something at Quiziin Food Court on Level 3, but upon arrival, we quickly realised that most of the stalls were closed—likely because it was the first day of Ramadan.

With options limited, we walked back along the same floor in search of something else.

A Familiar Favourite

That was when we reached Nyonya Colours, a place we had come to rely on for a simple, satisfying meal.

We ordered their Set A, which came with:

  • Toasted bread
  • Half boiled eggs
  • Teh Tarik

It was a classic Malaysian breakfast, and one we kept coming back to time and time again.

A Good Start

The total came to RM19.60 (≈ USD5 / EUR4). For a meal in a mall, we thought that was quite reasonable.

It wasn’t fancy. It wasn’t elaborate. But it was exactly what we needed.

Ready to Go

With our bellies filled and spirits lifted, we felt energised and ready. Now, the real walkabout could begin. 🚶‍♂️✨

We do what we can to support local businesses, and it's always good to know that everyone here observes all related SOPs, it helps make us feel safer and reassured.
