Lim Siong Kee Beef Noodles

Lim Siong Kee Beef Noodles
Jalan Hamzah (opposite KB Mall).
15050 Kota Bharu
(Coordinates: 6.116326, 102.239646)

To find a shop in Kota Bharu (or the entire east coast for that matter) that sells beef noodles is pretty amazing. To find a shop that served delicious beef noodle is miraculous! So this is our favourite restaurant located near KB Mall. While I think Buddhists generally do not abstain from consuming beef, apparently the Buddhist community here do not cook or sell beef-based dishes. Apparently a family of Christians operate and run this shop.

The only negative point to this shop is the fact that it faces a main road that is very dusty.

Shouldn't be too hard to miss

N/B: We finally managed to pay a visit to the Puchong variant, a.k.a. Kota Bharu Beef Noodles!

  2. This stall is operated by the daughter of Lim Siong Kee and the taste of the noodles and soup is similar to the ones in Kota Bharu. Try it and you will feel that it is like you are back in Kelantan. Also go early as sometimes it may be sold out by 1.00 pm.
