KLIA Walkaround

A Last Minute Trip to KLIA

25 July was supposed to be Brendan’s end of semester date, but since classes had stopped early, he was allowed to come home ahead of schedule. With such short notice, the cheapest Malaysia Airlines option was a late evening flight from Kuching, so we booked the 8:40pm departure.

We left home at 8:30pm and reached KLIA within an hour. Our Touch ’n Go card balance was running low, so with time to spare we went looking for an ATM. Unfortunately, none of the Maybank machines could reload the card. In the end, we topped it up at 7 Eleven, though it came with a RM0.50 surcharge — not ideal, but unavoidable.

Waiting for Brendan

Brendan’s plane landed around 10:00pm, but his luggage took almost an hour to appear at the carousel. Eventually, he walked out through the arrival gates, tired but smiling, and just like that our little family was complete again.

Wrapping Up

With Brendan safely back in Kuala Lumpur, we ended our vlog for the night. More stories and adventures will follow in the weeks to come.

A Small Reminder

While masks are now optional outdoors, they are still mandatory indoors. Stay safe and considerate.
