Kafe Santai

Kafe Santai
Lower Ground Floor, Kompleks Kenanga Wholesale City
No.2, Jalan Gelugor

Yes, it’s one of those rare occasions when our family has breakfast, and on a weekend to boot! We come here each time Brendan’s wardrobe needs replenishment, and Kenanga Wholesale City (KWC) is a haven for all clothes K-Pop-themed. Vincent and Virginia came along for the ride, as it was their first time here to KWC.

Since we were early and most eateries in the vicinity were not yet open for business we decided to have breakfast (or is it brunch at 10:00AM?) here at the lower recesses of the Complex (lower ground to be exact).

pretty decent fare

We all had the Nasi Lemak except for Vincent who tried the Fried Mee Hoon.

The verdict? We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and Virginia especially loved the super-spicy Sambal that came with the Nasi Lemak. And the damage? At RM30.00 inclusive of beverages for everyone this is one establishment that is surely befitting the mantle of the everyday food for the everyday person.
