Restoran Ming Sing

Restoran Ming Sing
Jalan Tali Air

Waking up the next morning we decided to have breakfast before heading out to my parent’s place. We found ourselves gravitating towards Jalan Chui Yin again (where we had an early dinner last night) but since it was Chinese New Year most of the eateries were full to the brim.

right along Jalan Sehala (an old joke)
less crowded than most

Driving further down along Jalan Tali Air we found a restaurant that had some empty seats. We soon discovered that Bentongites love their Yong Tau Foo, for we found ourselves having it for breakfast as well. Brendan and Cat had theirs with Mee Hoon Soup while I had mine with Curry Mee.

the stall that catered to all our needs
Brendan and Cat had their yong tau foo...
... with bee hoon soup
sleepyhead!
perky as usual
my curry mee with yong tau foo
our beverages
let's dig in!

The verdict? Somehow food tastes different in good clean air, which Bentong had an abundance of, and we had no cause for complaints. And the damage? Well, it’s Bentong after all and with a round of beverages it came to below RM20, well within the domain of the everyday food for the everyday person.
