Penang Day 7!
Our final morning in Penang. We woke up at 6:00am, checked out of Hotel Penaga soon after, and hailed a Grab to Queensbay Mall for RM30.00 (≈ USD7/EUR6), where we would once again be taking the Aeroline bus back to Kuala Lumpur.
Clichéd as it sounds, time really does fly when we’re having fun — slipped disc notwithstanding. We had an amazing six days in Penang, and we were genuinely sad to leave. We were so caught up in the moment that we even forgot it was New Year’s Day.

The Journey Home
We boarded the bus at 8:30am and departed five minutes later. The journey was largely uneventful. Two hours in, we stopped at the Petronas station in Simpang Pulai for a quick biological break before continuing on.
Two hours after that, we were back within Kuala Lumpur’s city limits and arrived at Corus Hotel at 1:05pm.
