Hello everyone! We are Cat and Harold from Kuala Lumpur. Welcome to our vlog, created to catalogue our memories, life’s events and travels.
Why “Have Perut Will Travel”? It’s a play on words from an old Western TV show called “Have Gun - Will Travel”, but we let our tummies lead the way ❣️

SBN Day 1 │ Yee Kee Beef Noodles • Arena Premier Hotel!
Seremban Weekend Escapade: Part 1
Sometimes the best trips are the ones that have been waiting quietly in the background for months.
Our Seremban weekend actually began with an email that landed in our inbox several months earlier. Ivan from Yee Kee Beef Noodles Seremban had kindly invited us to visit and sample some of their dishes. We meant to go much sooner, but life had other plans. First came my relief stint in Alor Setar, followed by adventures in Phuket, Hatyai, and eventually Manila. One trip rolled into another, and Ivan's invitation patiently waited in the background.
Hitting the Road
With things finally settling down, we decided it was time for a weekend escape to Seremban. At five minutes past eleven on a relaxed Saturday morning, we headed over to BiBi, loaded our trusty grey goblins into her boot, and set off.
As we drove, Ivan's invitation came to mind once again. But in true HPWT style, we decided not to announce ourselves. Instead, we would quietly turn up as regular customers and experience the restaurant exactly as everyone else did.
Sometimes the best reviews come from arriving unnoticed.
Lunch at Yee Kee Beef Noodles
By half past noon, we had arrived at Yee Kee Beef Noodles and found ourselves a table.
Yee Kee is one of those places that feels woven into the fabric of Seremban itself. Serving its famous beef noodles since the 1930s, it remains cosy, honest, and proudly traditional. There is nothing flashy about the place, and that is precisely what makes it special.
Cat and I ordered their two signature dishes: the Beef Noodles Dry and the traditional Beef Noodles Soup. We chose the set meals, which came with drinks and desserts, giving us a chance to enjoy a little bit of everything.
The meal was comforting, flavourful, and exactly the sort of food that keeps generations of customers coming back.
Best of all, our lunch for two came to just RM44.30 (≈ USD11/EUR10).
A Little Weekend Pampering
With lunch out of the way, we made a short drive to Plumeria Aesthetics Studio.
After weeks of work, travel, airports, and long days on our feet, a little pampering felt completely justified. I went for a pedicure and foot scrub for RM75.00 (≈ USD18/EUR16), while Cat treated herself to an anti-ageing facial for RM128.00 (≈ USD32/EUR28).
Our relaxing afternoon at Plumeria came to a total of RM203.00 (≈ USD50/EUR44) and left both of us feeling refreshed and recharged.
Checking Into Arena Premier Hotel
By the time we finished, it was almost three in the afternoon. We climbed back into BiBi and made our way to Arena Premier Hotel, our home for the weekend.
After parking in the basement, we headed up to the lobby and checked in. The hotel features 99 guestrooms and suites and sits within a newly developed commercial area packed with eateries, cafés, and restaurants, all within easy walking distance.
We had actually stayed here before. Back in November 2024, our Deluxe Twin Room cost just RM223.56 (≈ USD55/EUR49) per night. Two years later, the rate had increased to RM261.12 (≈ USD64/EUR57).
Even so, we felt it still offered good value.
Settling In
Once inside, any concerns about the higher room rate quickly disappeared.
The room felt warm, cosy, and welcoming. Everything looked fresh and well maintained, and the spacious layout gave us plenty of room to spread out. Our Deluxe Twin Room came equipped with a safe deposit box, flat-screen TV, coffee and tea-making facilities, and two comfortable super single beds.
Most importantly, it was clean, roomy, and still felt wonderfully new, exactly what we had hoped for.
Combined with the excellent location and the abundance of nearby dining options, Arena Premier Hotel was an easy recommendation for anyone planning a comfortable stay in Seremban.
As we settled into our room and prepared for the rest of the afternoon, we couldn't help but smile. Good food, a little pampering, a comfortable hotel, and absolutely nowhere to rush to. Our Seremban weekend was off to a fantastic start.
Join us in the next video as we continue our Seremban escapade and discover what else this charming Negeri Sembilan town had waiting for us!
