Lehbab (or Lahbab) is a village
in the Emirate of Dubai about 50 km south of Dubai city. It is situated on the
highway between Dubai and the border of the Emirate of Sharjah. Lehbab is also
known for its stunning desert characterised by wide expanses of sands and
captivating dunes.
We arrived at the appointed checkpoint and waited for other SUVs to join us in a convoy across the red dunes.

A stark yet stunning wilderness
marked by the occasion shrub or bush. Plain yet appealing, the vast expanse of
red dune as far as the eye can see holds a certain romantic quality, at least
in the eyes of this beholder.
