Arriving in Ipoh
We reached The Majestic Condo — our home for the next two nights — about three hours after leaving Kuala Lumpur. Professionally hosted by GA Homes Homestay, the apartment offered a stylish stay with an infinity pool, lush garden, and indoor pool. Free WiFi, air conditioning, a kitchenette, balcony, private bathroom, dining area, washing machine, microwave, and kettle made it feel like a complete home.
Why We Loved This Airbnb
If we had to list the top three things we loved, it would be:
- Location
- Location
- Location
The Majestic was within walking distance of almost everything — Padang Ipoh, Concubine Lane, Gerbang Malam, and plenty of food options. At RM182 a night (about USD43 / EUR37), it was excellent value.
We hope the footage shows just how cosy and convenient this apartment was.
Exploring the Facilities
Before settling in, we headed out for lunch at Nasi Ganja Ipoh (featured in our previous video). On the way back, we toured the facilities — the swimming pool and gym on Level 7, and the rooftop garden on Level 21 with its sweeping views of Ipoh.
A Quiet Afternoon
Once we returned to the apartment, we spent the rest of the afternoon indoors, enjoying the comfort of the space and taking a breather after the drive.
Stay tuned for our next video as we take an evening stroll to a nearby night market.
