SKH Day 2 │ Anson Hainan Kopitiam!

Lunch in Teluk Intan!

After our visit to the leaning tower we hopped back into BiBi and drove the short distance to our lunch destination: Anson Hainan Kopitiam.

Excerpts from UAK Travel's website that provided an apt description:

If you're in Perak and looking to explore the genuine kopitiam experience, Anson Hainan Kopitiam is certainly a place to consider for a taste of local favourites."

Although renowned for its Mee Udang (Shrimp Noodles) and Milk Toast after perusing the menu we instead ordered the:

  • Hainan Chicken Chop
  • Nasi Lemak Otak Ikan
  • their traditional Iced Coffee
  • Iced Herbal Tea

for a grand total of RM47.50 (approximately USD11/EUR10).

We then hopped back into BiBi and made the return drive back to Sekinchan. Stay tuned as we emerge in the evening headed to the same general area but a different seafood joint!
