Changi Airport!
We picked you up again after arriving at Changi for a final fare of SGD2.17 (approximately MYR7/USD2/EUR1). Since it was already lunchtime we wandered for a little while before settling on the nearest eatery lunch. We asked around and were told to head to the food court at Terminal 1.
Here we settled on the chicken rice shop Roost and ordered the:
- Yin Yang Chicken Rice
- Soya Sauce Chicken Rice
- Tom Yum Soup with Rice
- 2 Coca-Cola
- Iced Lemongrass
for a grand total of SGD52.28 (approximately MYR171/USD41/EUR35).
After lunch we went in search of the iconic waterfalls at Terminals 1 and 2. We first walked over to Terminal 2 to capture footage of the digitally created Wonderfall. We then caught the Skytrain to Terminal 1 to see the HSBC Rain Vortex, the world's tallest indoor waterfall.
Missions accomplished we doubled and eventually got back to the Changi train station. Here we caught a train to the Tanah Merah station at 3:00pm before switching back to the Green Line bound for Tuas Link.
We disembarked at City Hall then switched yet again to the Red Line bound for Jurong East making it all the way back to Causeway Point at 4:15pm for a total fare of SGD2.43 (approximately MYR8/USD2/EUR2). From here we caught the same#950 bus back to the Woodlands Immigration checkpoint at ten to five and returned back to Johor Bahru.
Stay tuned for the previous video to find out how we got on after that!
