Checking Out of The Majestic

We woke up at 7:15am and began packing up. After a final sweep of the homestay to make sure nothing was left behind, we headed out an hour later. We took the elevator down to Level 5, loaded our bags into BiBi, and drove to the lobby.

At 8:30am, we dropped the access cards and keys into the designated mailbox. We genuinely recommend this homestay managed by GA Homes — it was comfortable, convenient, and well run.

Breakfast in Old Town

From The Majestic, we drove a short distance to Jalan Panglima near Concubine Lane. The first coffee shop we saw, Two Six Restaurant, was already buzzing, so we walked in and ordered:

2 sets of Roti Goyang (toast with half boiled egg)
Iced Milo
hot White Coffee

Breakfast came to RM17 (about USD4/EUR3). We also bought some steamed buns to take away for RM26.20 (about USD6 / EUR5).

The Drive Back to Kuala Lumpur

At 9:10am, we hopped back into BiBi and began our drive home. The journey was smooth and uneventful, taking just a little over two hours. Once we reached Kuala Lumpur, we headed straight to Kampung Baru so BiBi could have a well deserved wash.

After that, we made our way home — ending our short but refreshing Ipoh getaway.
