Thamrin Residences
We picked you up again after returning to the Airbnb from our afternoon saunter at Grand Indonesia. While I busied myself with the growing catalogue of footage from the past two days, Cat was occupied with laundry.
Evening arrived and we still weren’t particularly hungry, so we only left the Airbnb after 8:00pm in search of a light meal. This time, we decided to properly explore the adjacent apartment block, Thamrin Residences.
We strolled past several mini markets and eateries before settling on a cluster of food providers operating under one umbrella: Portal Co Kitchen. Eight different kitchens were housed under one roof, offering a surprisingly diverse range of cuisine.
We took our time browsing their consolidated menu and eventually ordered:
- Bihun Goreng Kari (Curry Fried Rice Vermicelli)
- Cumi Sambal Matah (Rice with Fried Squid and Egg)
- Iced Tea Tarik
- Iced Tea
Our late dinner came to IDR123,300 (≈ MYR36/USD8/EUR7).
After eating, we popped into an IndoMaret to pick up a small tub of ice cream before making the short walk back to the Airbnb.
